RBS launches evening banking

KARACHI, Nov 17: The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), formerly ABN AMRO Bank (Pakistan), in a bid to attract customers has announced the launch of evening banking service.

The evening banking service will be available for an additional two hours till 7pm, from Monday to Friday in 13 branches across five leading cities.

Foreign banks, including RBS, are facing tremendous pressure in the global financial market, but the relatively safe Pakistani market could offer them better field to earn good profits.

The evening services will be provided by six branches in Karachi, two each in Lahore, Islamabad and Faisalabad and one branch in Multan.

The bank management said this service will subsequently be expanded to other branches and cities as well.

With this evening banking services of RBS, other banks including Pakistani banks could be compelled to chase the increased timing.
