HYDERABAD: SNF calls for change in leadership

Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, Nov 16: Sindh National Front chief Mumtaz Bhutto has said the country is facing an extremely dangerous situation and needs a leader of the calibre of Ataturk to extricate it from the president crisis.

Addressing party workers here on Sunday, he said that if the situation remained unchanged, the rulers would destroy the country and the people, adding that the change had become inevitable.

While the country was in the grip of insurmountable economic crisis the coalition partners were being given ministries, Mr Bhutto said. He said while the people were starving, the rulers were undertaking foreign tours and spending tax-payers money like water.

He said that poor women were knocking at the doors of ministers and advisers just for receiving Rs1,000 aid. He said that jobless youths who had been given appointment letters were not receiving salaries and added that the slogan of “Roti, Kapra Aur Makan” was just a hoax. He called upon the people to bring about a change in political leadership.
