Primary teachers seek salary

JACOBABAD, Nov 15: Primary teachers took out a rally to protest against non-payment of their salaries here on Saturday. The rally started from DAO office and after parading on main roads reached before the local press club where the protesters raised slogans against EDO education.

Speaking on the occasion, Ali Hyder, Sikandar Ali, Basheer Ahmed, Nisar Ahmed and others said that they have not been paid salaries for the last three months. They said that they were visiting treasury and EDO offices daily but no one was ready to listen their grievances.

They appealed to the chief minister and education minister to look into the matter and release their salaries.—BoC
