KARACHI, Nov 15: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers, coal and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Meanwhile, two more ships to load containers and cement also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, APL Almandine, Musan, Gladiator, Sulawesi Palm, Qem Star and Y.M. Cultivation, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil and coal.

A cargo volume of 46,830 tons comprising 36,438 tons of import and 10,392 tons of export was handled. APL Almandine and Sulawesi Palm sailed out while Qem Star was expected to leave the port on Saturday.
