KARACHI, Nov 14: Three ships carrying containers, project cargo and to load clinker are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships were berthed on Friday. They are: Ince Innebolu, Sepentine to offload about 75,000 tons of imported wheat, Island Star to load cement, Nord Scan Mumbai to unload and load general cargo and Hansa Stavenger and Bunga Teratai-4 to load containers.
Five vessels, Longfin, Northern Harmony, Bunga Teratai-4, Hyundai Baron, and Hanjin Calcutta departed on Friday, while Calvin P. Titus, Morning Seagul, Nordwoge, Sima Pride, Prinkipo and Banglar Urmi are due to sail out on Saturday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves showed a modest decline at 76,216 tons, owing lesser handling of imported cargo, comprising 47,216 tons of exports and 29,636 tons of imported goods.
The following ships are due on Saturday: Darya Raag to load 25,000 tons of clinker, Green Valley, with containers and Honour, with project cargo.
