Pakistan Seniors Tennis from 24th

KARACHI, Nov 13: Local and foreign players of yesteryear will show a glimpse of their past when they make their appearance in the 10th Pakistan International Seniors World Ranking Tennis Championship category four, which runs at Karachi Club from Nov 24 to 30.

“Two Indians, an Indonesian and a Thai have confirmed their entries before deadline which passed on Nov 1,” an official of the Pakistan Seniors Tennis Association (PSTA) told Dawn on Thursday.

The PSTA, he added, has offered return air tickets to Pakistan’s renowned veterans including Rashid Malik and Hameedul Haq besides offering daily allowance.

The deadline for submission of entries for home players is Nov 22.

Eight events will be on card in the week-long spectacle which includes men’s 35 plus singles and doubles, 45 plus singles and doubles, 55 plus singles and doubles and women’s 35 plus singles and doubles.

According to a PSTA official, the Karachi Club has provided their facility free of cost.
