KARACHI, Nov 13: The PTCL is introducing ATM-like machines for the general public to facilitate payment of telephone bills, says a press release.

The “self-service bill payment kiosks” are to be installed initially at all PTCL-managed locations and later at remote locations, like shopping malls, banks, airports etc.

Adel Rashid Soufah of the Etisalat and Abdul Baseer Tahir of the PTCL, announcing the introduction of the new facility, said that these kiosks would provide services and accept bill payments in cash and through credit cards. The machines could be operated in a touch-screen interface mode. —APP
