OICCI clarification

Published November 14, 2008

KARACHI, Nov 13: Only 18 foreign companies in Pakistan may wind up their businesses because of persisting law and order problem, and not 18 per cent of the 175 members of the Overseas Chambers of Commerce and Industry (OICCI).

Out of 175 member companies only 110 responded to the questionnaire.

It means 63 per cent responded and 37 per cent preferred to remain non- committal.

A telephonic clarification from OICCI suggested the actual numbers from percentages be derived in relation to 110 respondents.
