Father, son killed in landmine blast

QUETTA, Nov 10: A man and his son were killed when a landmine exploded in Zainkoh area of Dera Bugti on Monday.

They were on a motorcycle which hit the landmine, killing one on them on the spot and injuring the other who died in the Dera Bugti civil hospital.

Meanwhile, a police DSP was killed and two other officers were injured when a van overturned near Kalat on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Ghulam Fareed Jamali.

The injured DSP Noor Mohammad and SI Hameed were admitted to the Kalat civil hospital.
