KARACH, Nov 10: Three ships carrying containers and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where six ships, Gulf Bridge, to unload and load containers, Diler-1 to offload fertiliser, Denny-Z, to unload and load general cargo and Johar, Avar and Champion Brali, to offload crude and higher speed diesel.

Sailings on the other hand were fairly active as 17 vessels departed after unloading and loading cargoes. They are: Hyundai Admiral, Y.M. Inauguration, Eric G. Gibson, Stadt Koln, Sima Sahba, Thuringia Express, Soon Fu, Kapitan Byankin, and Carrole.

They were followed by Team Al-Emirates, Nahab-1, Lady Rea, OBS Anita, Pequod, Fu Ning Hai, Avax and Denny-Z.A total volume of 0.285m tons of the total cargo was handled during the last two days comprising 0.103m tons of export tonnage, including 6,085 tons of rice and 22,722 tons of cement and 0.182m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Tuesday; Oriental Moon to load 13,600 tons of rice, Cape Negro and Deja Bhum, with containers.
