TOKYO, Nov 8: A 10-member Joint Study Group (JSG) of Pakistan and Japan comprising prominent business community members will hold talks here from Monday for promotion of trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, said a senior official at Pakistan Mission.

The JSG was established by the governments of Pakistan and Japan last year, said Economic Minister at the mission Iftikhar Babar while talking to APP.

He said that the last meeting of JSG was held in July in Karachi and Islamabad, while the second meeting is scheduled here from Nov 10 to 11. The JSG will discuss trade matters, including FTA between Pakistan and Japan and establishment of a Special Economic Zone for Japanese investors in Karachi.
