ISLAMABAD, Nov 4: The constitution committee of Pakistan Cricket Board, which was to convene its first meeting on Tuesday, has now deferred it to Nov 8.

The Federal Sports Ministry formed a thirteen-member committee under the chairmanship of Federal Law Minister Farood H. Naek on Sept 27 to review and amend the constitution of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and to re-structure the domestic cricket system.

An official of Federal Sports Ministry told Dawn on Monday that the date of the meeting was changed by Federal Law Ministry.

The committee would also review ways and means to limit the powers of the PCB chairman.

Former Test players Javed Miandad, Mohsin Khan, Saleem Malik, Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram will also attend the meeting on special invitation.
