KARACHI, Nov 4: Seven ships carrying containers, imported wheat and to load cement and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Mol Ability, Hyundai Qingdao to unload and load containers, Team Emirates to load cement, Quetta and Al-Marwah to offload crude oil and high-speed diesel were accommodated berths after the departure of five on Tuesday.

The departing ships were led by H.H. Tide, Al-Abdulla, High Century, Northern Harmony and Ding Xiang Hai, while Blenit, Quetta, Hyundai Qingdao, Al-Marwah, Deja Bhum, Cap Colorado, Nord Mermaid, Elena and Marilyn are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 95,865 tons comprising 44,672 tons of export cargo, notably rice and cement and 51,193 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Velentine to load 3,500 tons of ethanol, Sea Bridge to load 24,000 tons of cement, Hanjin Qingdao, Harmony, Hyundai Admiral, Pac Antalia with containers and Ince Inebolu with 42,803 tons of imported wheat.
