The chief minister asked the contractors to complete Walton Road from Ferozepur Road to Khayaban-e-Iqbal by Nov 15 instead of Nov 30. Taking serious note for not getting third party audit of Walton Road project, he transferred the Tepa chief engineer. He directed the NESPAK managing director to submit a report for widening the road from Thokar Niaz Beg to Moghuplura and making it of three lanes due to increasing population and rush of traffic but this fact must be kept in view that the trees should not be cut during widening of the road.
