PHF announces junior series itinerary

KARACHI, Nov 1: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced the itinerary of the Pakistan-India Under-21 junior Test series being played in different cities from Nov 10.

The Indian Junior team will arrive here on Nov 10 through the Wagah border in Lahore.

The first match in the five Test match series will be played at the Hockey Club of Pakistan, Karachi on Nov 11 under flood lights. The match will start at 7pm.

The second match will be held at Army Hockey Stadium Rawalpindi on Nov 13. Both teams will travel to Faisalabad for the third match on Nov 15.

The fourth match will be played at the Sialkot Hockey Stadium, Sialkot, Nov 18. The last match will be played at the National Hockey Stadium Lahore on Nov 21. The last four matches will start at 1pm.

The PHF has also released details about their technical officials for the smooth running of the series. Hasan Sardar will be the technical delegate, while Rashad Mehmood Butt is the umpire’s manager. The umpires and reserve umpires for the matches are as follows:

Karachi: Mohsin Ali Khan (umpire), Hanifuddin (reserve umpire).

Rawalpindi: Anwaar Hussain (umpire), Ihsan-ul-Haq Babar (reserve umpire).

Faisalabad: Parvez Akhtar (umpire), Naveed (reserve umpire).

Sialkot: Zulfiqar Haider Shah (umpire) with the local umpire serving as the reserve umpire.

Lahore: Rana Mohammad Liaquat (umpire), Mohammad Mushtaq (reserve umpire).
