HYDERABAD, Nov 1: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil said on Saturday that tents and edibles were being dispatched to the earthquake victims of Balochistan, which had been purchased from Rs5 million donated by the district government and city and Latifabad talukas.

He said that the district government would also send a team of doctors and paramedical staff to Balochistan to provide medical aid to the earthquake victims.

The people of Hyderabad had always been in the forefront of helping victims of natural calamities and they would not lag behind this time as well in aiding their brethren in Balochistan, he said.—Bureau
