KARACHI, Oct 31: Top four players — Waqas Mehboob, Hamza Bokhari, M. Naeem and Shaikh Saqib — on Friday stepped into the qualifying round of the CNS International Squash Championship by winning the pre-qualifiers at the PN Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan Squash Complex.

They join the 12 players to complete a draw of 16 for the two-day qualifying round which begins on Saturday at 11.30am.

The 12 include Bilal Zaman, Aqib Hanif, Amjad Khan, Waqar Mehboob, Safeerullah Khan, Wasim Shad, M. Shoaib Hassan, Owais Khan, Tariq Manzoor (UAE), Kashif Khan, Mamoonur Rashid and Nosherwan Khan.

Again the top four will advance to the main round which gets into action from Monday. The main round concludes on Nov 6.
