KARACHI: Activist killed

KARACHI, Oct 31: An activist of the Awami National Party (ANP) and another man were shot dead by unidentified suspects in North Nazimabad area on Thursday night.

Police said the assailants riding on two motorcycles opened fire at some people sitting outside an LPG shop in Hussain D’Silva Town killing two men and injuring others.

Following the incident enraged residents of the area took to the streets and pelted vehicles with stones and lit bonfires.

Police said 38-year-old Gul Feroz Khan and Bilal had died on the spot while Ali Shah suffered injuries in the attack.
