NAROWAL, Oct 30: The District Bar Association on Thursday refused to lift ban on the entry of PML-N Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal into the bar.

The Narowal DBA had slammed its doors on Ahsan Iqbal in February last, alleging that he had misbehaved with the then senior vice-president of the bar, Chaudhry Munir Afzal.

Reviewing its earlier resolution regarding the imposition of ban on Ahsan’s entry on the request of some members of the DBA, the meeting refused to budge from its previous stance. The DBA, later, celebrated Ali Ahmad Kurd’s election as president of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
