Man shot for thrashing student

FAISALABAD, Oct 28: A high school teacher was gunned down for allegedly thrashing his pupil at Khurrianwala on Tuesday.

Mohammad Boota, a 9th class student at government high school at Chak 107-RB, informed his uncle Rafaqat Ali that his teacher Abdul Rehman of Chak 106-RB, had subjected him to severe torture over a minor issue.

An infuriated Rafaqat opened fire on Rehman, killing him on the spot. The accused managed to escape.
