KARACHI, Oct 28: Six ships including two with 55,000 tons of wheat are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where six ships, Ding Xiang Hai to offload wheat, Admir Coral, CAP George, Mol Admiration, Oel Transworld to unload and load general cargo and containers and Madura, an oil tanker, were accommodated berths after the departure of three on Tuesday.

The departing ships were led by Tower Bridge, Gulf Tiger and Royal Success, while Madura, Sima Pride, Bulk Arrow, Oel Transworld and Malika Naree are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly active where a total tonnage of 103,000 tons comprising 48,857 tons of export and 54,219 tons of import tonnage was handled.The following ships are due on Wednesday: Clean Seas and Marilyn with 34,988 and 19,000 tons of imported wheat respectively, X-Press Khyber, APL Yokohama, MOL Affinity, with containers and Fu Yu Shan with general cargo.
