KARACHI, Oct 28: Three ships with containers and wheat were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

In the meantime, one vessel carrying sulphur also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, Maersk Novazzano, Maersk Carolina, Vancouver-II, Vola-I, Pacific Scorpio, Agility, Vema Ocean and Shaffi, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rice, wheat, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 105,000 tons comprising 77,000 tons of import and 28,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

RM Power, Shaffi and Agility sailed out while Vema Ocean, Maersk Novazzano and Maersk Carolina were expected to depart.
