KARACHI, Oct 27: Beacon House Jubilee Campus scored an exciting five-run victory over St Paul’s High School to reach the final of the first KGA Ian Fyfe Memorial Twenty20 inter-school cricket tournament at the KGA Ground here on Monday.

After being restricted to 113 all out in the second semi-final, Beacon House hit back to dismiss St Paul’s for 108 in 19.4 overs with paceman Asif Ansari capturing four for 17 in four overs and off-spinner Abdul Rehman two for 23 in three overs.Zaheer Khan was left stranded with an unbeaten 33 off 21 balls when last man Feroz Khan was run out.

Earlier, Zohaib Sohail contributed 33 for Beacon House as leg-spinner Arfeen Ausaf claimed three for 16 in four overs and off-spinner Saad Saleem two for 17 in three overs.

Beacon House will take on St Patrick’s High School in the final, which is scheduled to be played on Saturday.
