KARACHI, Oct 27: Three ships carrying containers, palm oil and furnace oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more container ships also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, CMA CGM Jasmine, Vancouver-II, Vola-I, RM Power, Agility, Vema Ocean and Shaffi, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rice, wheat, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 78,948 tons comprising 63,891 tons of import and 15,057 tons of export tonnage was handled.

CMA CGM Jasmine sailed out while RM Power was expected to depart.
