Abdukhalikov claims crown

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25: Abdukhalikov Syrym of Kazakhstan won the men’s singles title of the ITF Pakistan Futures International tennis championships (F2) by defeating Ukraine’s Alekseenko Vidam in straight sets at the PTF Tennis Complex on Saturday.

Both the players displayed quality game by hitting a number of winners and long rallies from the baseline. But, it was Abdukhalikov who won the first set 6-4.

Alekseenko took 1-0 lead in the second set but could not maintain it as the Kazak bounced back to win the set 6-3.
