Man shot dead by robbers

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 25: Robbers shot a farmer dead in a robbery bid in Noorpur Arian village in Sharaqpur police precincts on Saturday.

Two outlaws stormed into the house of Boota and took the inmates on gunpoint. On resistance, they shot at Boota, killing him on the spot.

The police have started investigation.

In another incident, four robbers snatched cash, a cell phone and a motorbike from a schoolteacher in Ferozewala police precincts.

Zaheer was on his way to his home in Chak 45 when the robbers took him on gunpoint, snatched Rs700 in cash, his cell phone and the motorcycle and fled.
