TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 24: Many government hospitals and rural health centres are facing shortage of doctors due to which patients face a great deal of hardship.
A health department official said on Friday in DHQ hospital one post each of pathologist, female medical officer and cardiologist were vacant. In Gojra eye-cum-general hospital, there are 10 vacant posts of a radiologist and nine medical officers.
There are 13 vacant posts in Kamalia THQ hospital, which are of a surgeon, a radiologist, a physician and nine medical officers.
