KARACHI: Inter (Arts) results out

KARACHI, Oct 24: Special (regular) candidates fared much better than regular and private candidates in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-II (Humanities group) annual examinations, results of which were announced on Friday.

The special (regular) candidates’ overall pass percentage in the examination stood at 91.57, followed by private candidates’ 44.81 and regular candidates’ 35.35.

The top three positions from among the special (regular) candidates were bagged by the students of Dewa Higher Secondary School, Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

Subuk Naz (Roll No 60548), daughter of Manazir-ul-Haq, clinched the first position with 1,008 marks (91.64 per cent) out of the total 1,100 marks; Khalid Ibrahim (Roll No 60044), son of Ibrahim Ismail Mayet, got the second position with 967 marks; and Summiya Usman (Roll No 60543), daughter of Usman Ali, secured the third position with 966 marks.

Among the general regular candidates, Anika Aslam Kazi (Roll No 50191), daughter of Aslam Kazi, got first position by securing 883 (80.27 per cent) out of 1100 marks. She is a student of D.A. Degree College for Women, DHA. Zahira Anjum (Roll No 55417), daughter of Anjum Akhtar, secured second position with 881 marks and Maleeha Waheed (Roll No 49944), daughter of Abdul Waheed, secured the third position with 852 marks.
