KARACHI, Oct 24: Kot Addu Power Company (Kapco) posted a profit-after-tax of more than Rs1.536 billion for the first quarter of 2008-09, but did not declare a dividend.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) here on Friday, the gross profit was estimated at Rs2.380 billion for the period ending Sept, 30, 2008.

The earning per share stood at Rs1.75 during the period under review.—APP
