Stringent security for Expo-2008


KARACHI, Oct 24: Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza has directed the Inspector General Police to ensure foolproof security arrangements for foreign participants of Expo Pakistan-2008, which will start here from October 27.

He said that the expo being organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will be attended by companies associated with textile, garments, food, spares, engineering goods, pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, sports and furniture as well as exporters of rice, fruits and IT products.—APP
