LARKANA, Oct 23: A traders’ delegation comprising expatriates from the United Kingdom, Germany and other European countries has expressed willingness to invest hugely in the district after assessing availability of raw material in and around Larkana and finding it in abundance.

Syed Saadat Hussain Shah who led the nine-member delegation and others said at a reception hosted by Pakistan People’s Party leader Mashooque Jatoi in their honour on Thursday that they were encouraged to see fields of paddy, cotton, wheat and sugarcane while traveling from Islamabad to Larkana.

They said that overseas Pakistanis associated with PPP were bound to make huge investments in the hometown of their slain leader Ms Benazir Bhutto.

They would soon hold a traders’ conference in the UK to form syndicates for early investments, particularly in the cottage industry, utilising locally available raw material, they said.
