KARACHI, Oct 19: Beacon House Jubilee Campus moved into the quarter-finals of the first KGA Ian Fyfe Memorial Twenty20 inter-school cricket tournament after recording an easy 68-run win over BVS Parsi High School here on Sunday.

In another fixture, also played at the KGA Ground, The Lyceum School defeated Foundation Public School by six runs in Pool ‘C’.

Batting first, Beacon House were all out for 147 in the Pool ‘D’ game before bundling out BVS for just 79 in the 17th over.

Meanwhile, opener Azal Ahsan scored 60 off 30 balls to help The Lyceum reach 123 for five in their 20 overs against Foundation Public, who were dismissed for 117 in 19.5 overs.

For the losers, Noyam Nasir excelled with two for 19 and 40.

The tournament resumes on Tuesday after Monday’s rest day.
