He said that over 200 Sindhi and Urdu medium schools have been converted into English medium to bring students at par with those of private institutions.

He said this while talking to a delegation of parents who called on him at his secretariat on Friday. Parents thanked him for providing free of cost textbooks, stationery and school bags to students. They also appreciated Nazim’s endeavor in converting school into English medium as nowhere in the country such steps had been taken. Nazim informed the parents that they were free to call on telephone no: 1334, if and when they find a fault in the system.

District Nazim said that improvement can only be brought about through collective efforts, therefore all stakeholders must strive for the betterment of educational standards.
