KARACHI, Oct 16: A month-long exhibition of Mexican photographer Pedro Meyer’s work opens at the T2F on Oct 21.

The show, being organised by Peace Niche/The Second Floor is part of Pedro Meyer’s Heresies exhibition, being held in more than 60 museums around the world during the current month.

Mr Meyer is renowned for his powerful and provocative shots as well as his pioneering work with digital imaging. His work will be on display daily between noon and midnight.

An important component of Heresies will be a series of talks, workshops and roundtables, ranging from an interactive demonstration of Pedro Meyer’s “I photograph to remember” to “Reading and interpreting photographic Images in an electronic age”.

Workshops will include sessions on “Image editing” and “How to tell stories through photographs”. Some of the proposed roundtables include “Feedback: the importance of artists and viewers exchanging ideas” and “New technology means we are all potential journalists”.
