The teams would consist of personnel from the traffic police, special branch and the district police. The police sniffer dog unit will also accompany the teams.

The decision was taken at a meeting held with Additional Inspector General of Police Rawalpindi Nasir Khan Durrani on Wednesday. The meeting attended by SSP special branch Salman Chaudhry, SP Rawal town Khuram Shehzad, SP traffic Malik Matloob Hussain and SSP operation Maqsood Khan reviewed security arrangements.

The stop and search operation will be headed by the respective SHOs and supervised by the SDPO and SP division.
