GHALANAI: NGO official kidnapped

GHALANAI, Oct 15 The media coordinator of Al-Khidmat Foundation was kidnapped from Zarif Korona of Michni area closed to Mohmand tribal region on Wednesday.

Noorullah Jadoon, media coordinator of Al-Khidmat Foundation, was kidnapped from the disputed area of Michni along the Mohmand region border when he was going in a foundation’s vehicle. He was shifted to undisclosed location. No group has claimed responsibility of his kidnapping so far.

The political administration of Mohmand region has registered FIR against unidentified miscreants and started investigation.

SUSPECTS ARRESTED: The paramilitary troops apprehended eight suspected persons in Karapa area on Wednesday.

The Mohmand Rifles in a raid arrested seven suspected persons when they were going in their vehicle (E-2199) and send them to Ghalanai prison. The detainees were identified as Abdul Khaliq, Mohammad Khalid, Rahim and Shah Mehmood of Afghan Logar province, Khan Sayed of Laghman province, Abdul Malik of Shabqadar, and Barkat of Bara, Khyber agency.

Another suspected person identified as Imran was also arrested from Nakhfi checkpost and handed over to the political administration for interrogation.
