DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Teacher accused of kidnapping girl student

By Our Correspondent

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 14: The father of a 12-year-old girl accused a schoolteacher of kidnapping and sexually abusing his daughter here on Tuesday.

The man has filed an application before the court of the district and sessions judge, alleging that the police had been supporting accused teacher Hameedullah and were reluctant to register an FIR regarding the offence.

The man requested the court to order registration of a case against Hameedullah, his father Ismail Khan, brothers Asmatullah and Himayatullah and order recovery of his daughter.

The man, resident of Abdulkhel village, claimed that his daughter was studying in fifth grade at a private school.

He said the girl had complained about the advances of the accused teacher following which they admitted her to a seminary from where the accused abducted her.
