Published October 14, 2008

LAHORE, Oct 13: Hoaxers on Monday continued to cause panic among public, this time spreading bomb rumors at least at five places in the city on Monday.

The places were General Post Office (GPO), Lahore High Court, Ali Girls College Baidian Road, Cantonment Complex Serwer Road, Jinnah Hospital and Johar Town auction house in front of Jinnah Hospital.

A Bomb Disposal Squad official told Dawn that the BDS officials cleared the places after conducting searches.

He said they received only one direct call from the deputy medical superintendent of Jinnah Hospital about the bomb threat.
