CHARSADDA/GHALANAI, Oct 13: Security forces arrested a US national when he was coming from Mohmand tribal region to Peshawar on Monday, official sources said.

Sources said that US citizen, Juddi Kenan, was travelling in a taxi when the vehicle was intercepted at a police checkpoint near Peer Qalla in Shabqadar. They said that police arrested him on suspicion and recovered from his possession a US passport, a laptop computer, a dagger and a map of Pakistan.

Sources said that the man, who resembled Afghans, also spoke broken Pashto. The Charsadda police did not confirm the report.
