ISLAMABAD, Oct 7: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Asif Bajwa held successful negotiations with German and Netherlands hockey professionals for a likely job with the Pakistan hockey team and the federation.

Talking to Dawn on Tuesday, the former Olympian said: “I have held successful negotiations with coach, physio, trainer and analyst for an assignment with the Pakistan hockey team and the federation.”

Pakistan has previously hired two Dutch coaches, Hans Jorritsma and Roelant Oltamans, who gave good input to hockey in 1993-94 and 2005.

Bajwa said, “My tour was a successful one and I would present the names of the candidates on Oct 14 in the executive board meeting for final approval.”
