Dengue case in Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD, Oct 7: A married woman has been tested positive for dengue virus here on Tuesday.

District Health Officer Dr Mumtaz Hussain confirmed that Shazia, wife of Manzoor Hussain of Mehmood Pur village, was a dengue fever patient.

The news has alerted locals as the tehsil municipal administration (TMA) and the health department has not taken any preventive measures.

A TMA officer, on the condition of anonymity, said that the administration had eliminated the funds/head of account reserved for spraying insecticides. —Correspondent
