KARACHI: Dengue virus

KARACHI, Oct 7: The number of people contracting the suspected dengue virus continued to rise with five more people reporting at various hospitals of the city.

Giving latest position, Sindh Health Minister Dr Saghir Ahmed said that the five patients reported at the Ziauddin Hospital and Jinnah Hospital overnight.

So far, a total of 811 suspected dengue patients have been brought to various hospitals in the province and 250 of them have tested positive, according to him.

The number of such patients admitted in the hospital stood at 765 while four had been discharged overnight.—APP
