NAB claims arresting GPO clerk

LAHORE, Oct 6: The National Accountability Bureau, Punjab, claimed on Monday to have arrested an official of the General Post Office for misappropriating Rs2.09 million.

According to the NAB, Abdul Rauf, a clerk of International Speed Post (ISP) branch, had received the amount as custom duty on 137 parcels. An investigation was initiated against the accused on a complaint filed by the regional chief post master. — Reporter
