KOHAT, Oct 6: Telecommunication link between Kohat and rest of the country was restored on Monday morning after remaining suspended for 16 hours.

Officials said that the main exchange developed some technical fault around 4pm on Sunday.

The engineers tried their best to remove the fault but had to call special staff from Peshawar late in the night.

The staff arrived after a delay of six hours due to the closure of the tunnel and removed the fault on Monday.

As a result of the fault in the main exchange all the other exchanges in the district remained out of order causing problems to the people.
