CHAKWAL, Oct 5: Officials of an intelligence agency arrested two persons in Parhal village for giving fake information to the Islamabad police on Jumatul Wida that a bomb was planted in the Faisal Mosque.

Mubasshir and his friend Naeem was tracked by the officials through his cellphone, which was used to make the threat. They were shifted to Islamabad for further interrogation.

Sources in the police department said one of the suspects himself worked for a sensitive institution.

After receiving information on Friday, a bomb disposal squad searched the entire mosque and declared that the bomb threat was a hoax. – PPI
