Reconstruction at Marriott in full swing
ISLAMABAD, Oct 4: The reconstruction work at the Marriott hotel which was destroyed in the September 20 suicide blast has gained momentum.
Sources in the hotel said it has been temporarily reopened while in the initial stages, the hotel’s outdoor catering laundry shop and Pearl Tours are ready to serve its respective customers.
It has been learnt that the owner of the hotel wants to complete the reconstruction work at the earliest and it is expected that by December 31 it will be fully operational. New security plan has been chalked out to avert such disasters in future, which will be strictly implemented, the sources added.—Online
