New currency notes: Legal notice for SBP
LAHORE, Sept 29: A senior lawyer has sent a legal notice to State Bank of Pakistan Governor Shamshad Akhtar seeking withdrawal of all new currency notes within 30 days.
Lawyer Tariq Aziz says the new notes of all denominations do not carry the Hadith underlining importance of earning money honestly.
He said earlier all the notes carried the Hadith of ‘rizq-i-helal ain ibadat hai’ (making an honest living is akin to praying).—Our Reporter
