KARACHI, Sept 29: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers and palm oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, another vessel carrying chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, AI-Wajba, CMA CGM Eiffel, Nova Noor, Pleione, Moyra, Jo Oak and Akmi, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil, phosphoric acid and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 63,642 tons comprising 49,185 tons of import and 14,457 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Zanzibar, Maersk Missouri, Capt. Markus, Sky-Ace-I, Jo Oak and AI-Wajba sailed out while CMA CGM Eiffel and Nova Noor were expected to depart.
