KARACHI, Sept 28: Ashir Hasnain produced a sterling all-round show to put NIB Bank in the final of the fourth AKU Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament with a thrilling three-run victory over Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) at the AKU Ground on Saturday.

Ashir hit 52 off 23 balls with five sixes and two boundaries and grabbed two wickets for 17 runs.

A massive 126-run opening stand between Usman Farhat and Asif Siddiqui failed to save DIB from defeat.

Tariq Murad made 48 off 33 balls with three fours and one six and Zulfiqar Lehri scored 31 with three boundaries and one six.
