Basant Lal takes oath as minister

QUETTA, Sept 27: Engineer Basant Lal Gulshan of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (Like-mined group) has been inducted into the Balochistan cabinet as its 45th minister.

Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi administered the oath to the new minister at a ceremony held here on Saturday.

Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani, Speaker Aslam Bhootani, provincial ministers, Chief Secretary Nasir Mehmood Khosa and IG Asif Nawaz Waraich attended the ceremony.

Basnat Lal Gulshan was elected a second time on the seat reserved for minorities on the ticket of PML-Q. He is the first minority minister in the Nawab Raisani cabinet.
